Palomino SolAire Ultra Lite travel trailer 317BHSK highlights:
- Private Bunkhouse
- U-Shaped Dinette
- Sofa Sleeper
- Dual Entry
- Outside Kitchen
Imagine having a private bunkhouse for the kids, and your own master bedroom with a king-size bed to yourself on the opposite side of the trailer. When you are ready to retire after a fun day outside, you can either get cleaned up in the full bathroom or head inside to your double entry bedroom. If you decided to purchase the optional 32" TV in the living area, then relax on the sofa sleeper or U-shaped dinette while others take turns taking a shower. The kids will probably race to claim one of the bunk beds or the double day bed in the rear bunkhouse. In the morning you can choose to cook inside with full amenities or outdoors on the outside kitchen. And you might like to relax under the awning and drink your coffee while you wait for everyone to wake up.
Each SolAire Ultra Lite travel trailer has loads of amenities that are revamped and up to date. From the modern style, the USB charging station, and the LED interior lights to the kitchen skylight that lets the sun's rays shine through, you can camp in comfort where ever you land. The Dexter TorFlex torsion axles provide a smooth ride, the barreled ceiling gives you more head room to move about, and the power smart jack makes set up easier. There is more to love, choose one of these SolAire Ultra Lite travel trailers today for your next adventure!

As demand for the Palomino grew, Mr. Landey felt it would benefit his company, Vanguard Ind., to relocate. With most manufacturers and industry suppliers located in the Elkhart, In. area the move eastward seemed logical. Vanguard Industries settled in the community of Colon in 1972. Once in Colon he began to put his plans in motion. By 1973 he had built the main production facility and within days Palomino tent trailers were rolling out the doors.
In 1976, Vanguard added its own Needle Division, in 1978 its own Metal Fabrication Plant, and has several cold storage facilities. On May 27, 1992, the primary production building and offices were destroyed by fire. By late August, 1992, the first 1993 model Palomino rolled of the line in the new 52,300 sq. ft. facility, which was built on the same site as the previous building had been.
The year 1998 continued to see expansion with the addition of a new 75,000 sq. ft. production facility, and another storage facility. In 2002 Vanguard was purchased by Forest River, Inc. This allowed for rapid growth and the introduction of two new towable lines of travel trailers and fifth wheels, Puma and Sabre by Palomino.
